Formal and informal assessment (including type[s] of assessmentand what is beingassessed)I willpost different blends and endings on the board and the children will help me create the l blends.In addition they will offer new blends that they can think of on their own and they’ll write it on theboard.Each student will get 5 precut blend templates that I pre prepared for the class, prior to the lesson. Itwill fill right on it the l blends. They will color the l blends one color and the ending in another. Whenthey are done I will tell them to cut it out and paste it so it matches. I will be walking around toassesthem.For the students that are struggling student I will hand out templates with easier blends, more commonones.Instructional procedure: Instructional strategies and learning tasksI will then group the children in groups of three, they need to think of new words with the lblend, they will need write it clearly on a sentence strip and then decorate it. This way I can see if I actually targeted all students, and all types of learners.In addition I would send home a list of different games that children can play online topractice, and parents will sign it if the child did any, and they will be given a treat.
