The strategy that I chose is the KWL chart strategy. This has a lot of benefits such as bringing out what the students already know. It ends up setting a purpose when the students are reading. The KWL chart also shows the comprehension of the students. this chart help the students organize the information that they have and that they learned and can get the students to engage in new topics. The teacher can also assess the students and create their lesson based on what the students know. You can use this strategy when teaching a new concept because then the students write down what they know and what they learned. When the students fill it in you can create your lesson according to that. when the students fill it out after teaching, then the teacher can see the comprehension of the students .
